Adam and Eve are like Hansel and Gretel or perhaps Jack and Jill. Eve followed “God’s” breadcrumbs to find Satan and fell, then Adam came tumbling after.
“God” could have placed Lucifer into the bowels of Mars . But judaism needed “him” to be in the bowels of the earth to help explain why “God” sometimes appears to punish his chosen people when they know they were dotting all those i’s and crossing all those t’s.
When it comes to the question which came first, the chicken or judaism, the elders of the tribes came first and then proceeded to create their egg, judaism and “God” in their image. Think of it as the egg hatching with God possessing all the attributes required for the manipulation of the populace. “He” hatched again when “christ” was resurrected.
It obviously makes no sense for “God” to be described as “love” and “love” turning around and placing an evil and powerful being into paradise just so creation can show it’s faithfulness.
Ben Franklin once said “America’s destiny is not power but light!”*
GOP : There can be no light without power or might.
gnofleas : Beg Pardon, says whom?
GOP : We the moral majority, we know “God!”
gnofleas : Does “God” not say in the word you call holy, there comes a time to beat the swords into plowshares?
GOP : Yes, but now is not the time.
gnofleas : Why?
GOP : Because “We Trust In God!”
gnofleas : Wouldn’t trust be better illustrated with humility instead of superior firepower? Doesn’t possessing a military industrial complex exalt hypocrisy?
GOP : We prefer to think of it as patriotism for God and Country.
gnofleas : Yeah, but our colors are suppose to be red, white and blue. The star of David makes us ‘bastard jews.’
GOP : What does the ’star of David’ have to do with the price of tea at Wal Mart?
gnofleas : The star of David is in our courtroom and you pretend our colors are red, white and blue.
