Granddaughter :  GrandPa, when a basketball coach makes the traditional sign of the cross before a game, like a last minute show of obeisance to the powers that be, and then later hurls a stone of  verbal abuse at a referee, for what he or she might think of the referee’s call, is that not an act of hypocrisy? Didn’t Jesus say “turn the other cheek and let the ref  smack it too?”
GrandPa :  Yes dear, but you are forgetting that the coach can go to confession and receive penance if he or she goes out into the world and raises lots of money and gives it to the church!
Granddaughter :  But doesn’t repentance depend upon repenting from the act that requires the penance?
GrandPa :  I’m not catholic dear, but I believe you are correct. Why not send your question to the Seminary admissions office and see if they respond with the official policy for such action?
Granddaughter :   It seems to me that the lack of congruence, the incongruence, is simple hypocrisy, and a poor example for any  role model to practice in front of  any student who might be under their tutelage.
GrandPa :  Sometimes we don’t always do what Jesus was alleged to have said and done. Even he was guilty of a ‘little hypocrisy’ when he encountered the money changers in the temple. The key question was or should be, “Is it a sin?” not to turn the other cheek.
Granddaughter :  What should the coaches do if they don’t want to appear like a wimp in front of millions when they become irate and want to give one up for the team?
GrandPa :  Keep the sign of the cross in the closet where it belongs and remove it from public display, lest it’s continued usage be viewed as the action of a reprobate mind!

Is GrandPa being judgmental? Is being judgmental a sin?  Should he repent for saying the coach has a ‘reprobate mind?’  What about the TV psychologists when they use their doctorates to bring healing to the masses? Are they sometimes judgmental? Can a President appear to be a hypocrite? Is there a solution? Many enquiring minds wrestle with questions like these. Where can you find answers to life’s difficult dilemmas?  Tune in to CBN, where bastard jews speak in tongues, until they turn blue, and seek the answer that “God” has for you!

11.28.07 Reality redux

Sometimes we overlook the obvious in pursuit of historical perspective, while deliberately revising history to fit the current needs and desires. Let’s forget for a moment that Israel has never known “God” and that the real one, if indeed there be only one, destroyed their temple, punishing the Semites that thought of themselves as Jews. (And what happens to the human beings that think of themselves as Semites?)

I suspect that many American christians think that Adam and Eve were Jews, primarily because of the flawed belief that they were real people who got star treatment in the fiction/fairy tale from genesis. Jews didn’t surface on the planet until the Semites started playing with knives. The Jewish people were just like their neighbors, were their neighbors until they started playing with the foreskin around the head of the male sexual organ we commonly call the Penis. Perhaps we should include this fact in our sexual education classes and help eliminate religious ignorance from a different angle. Jews are Jews because of the ritual of circumcision*. The act even ‘evolved’ to include the Rabbi sucking the remains off the butchered head of said penis and is on the books in the state of New York as a protected religious practice. I know I’ve spoke of it before, but think of how many times you may have been reminded of John 3:16. (The ritual, spread in the adult population primarily because it was also spun as a collateral blessing for impotence. If it didn’t work, you were living in “sin!” ; ). )

Seminaries that seek to thrive on primitive religious fundamentalism, really should start with the fact that this one ritual has caused incredible hardship upon humanity and led to misogyny, racism, and perhaps most importantly, sanctioned idolatry, as our President likes to remind the world that Israel has the right to exist beyond it’s pre ‘67 borders. Why?

Does it have something to do with neocon eschatology and the Pentagon’s desire to outflank “Gog and Magog?” (“We need that oil!”) Who are the two entities mentioned in the bible? One author has speculated that it’s Russia and China and convinced Reagan. (Not hard to do as ‘Ronnie’ was not noted for being an intellectual. For that matter neither is W. Are we seeing a trend in GOP leadership?) Some think maybe India and Pakistan. If Great Britain and America, both  responsible for the rebirth of Israel, (after it was destroyed by the ‘God of Israel,’ who was apparently greatly offended by false worship,) decided to invade Iraq as a gesture to wash (outflank) the feet of the other two, regardless of whom those two might be, would they not be the visible manifestations?
Britain’s pulling out and Australia will be soon. The coalition of the willing gets smaller and smaller as more real truth is learned. Sad part is you won’t learn it from Fox News, et al.

The Arab league has agreed in principle to the existence of Israel in the pre ‘67 format. Israel has no legitimate voice and absolutely no business trying to appear as a sovereign state. Israel is a failed state whose bills are paid by American taxpayers, or financed through loans from various sources as America’s taxpayers can no longer keep up with the growing federal deficit. America doesn’t need God to do what it is doing, just the magic of finance. While magic is framed as sin within traditional orthodoxy, if it deals with money, it’s kosher!

11.26.07 Terminology

Granddaughter : GrandPa, are you concerned that usage of the term ‘bastard jew’ creates incredible bias toward our efforts to bring light into shadows that appear as light?
GrandPa : There is some concern for the children, that it might create an inferiority complex within the parent-child relationship. Are the parents ignorant because they fail to realize that the our species, homo Sapiens, evolved and were not created by the hand of God? Does parental ignorance cause the children to feel slighted, inferior, and unloved, because they are living in a home that teaches primitive fundamentalism as truth when real truth cancels the ignorance christian faith brings?
Granddaughter : Where can America find hope, if the God of the bible is a simple creation of human thought, a projection of God created in their perceived image, and not the real creator of the universe?
GrandPa : It begins with a respect for science, where real knowledge and understanding allow everyone to see the shortcomings of religious systems. Eve did not come from Adam’s rib. That’s just plain silly. We evolved. Darwin was right and the Jewish elders of old were probably high on peyote when they told their tales about creation and how Abraham was bored with being a Semite. I guess chopping off the foreskin of everyone with a penis was godly wisdom. Eh! That way they could differentiate their tribe from it’s nomadic past and start something ‘new under the sun.’ Circumcision was the first step toward becoming New Age Jews, pretenders in the understanding of things that cannot be understood, when reason and logic are usurped by the fiction spawned by their tradition of oral storytelling. There was no Eden. Moses did not part the Red Sea. Jesus did not rise from the grave with the keys to hell and eternal life. That’s all fiction. Jesus and his teachings were deliberately falsified to bring the original old testament scapegoat a new and improved image, the illusion of God’s own son hanging on a tree to undo the damage from a story about Eve. It’s hard to imagine any woman alive today believing that God punishes them with pain at childbirth because Eve slipped on a banana.
Granddaughter : So women experience pain just like all the other female mammals that give birth without a godly curse?
GrandPa : Unless they’ve had an epidural and allow science to minimize the discomfort that may be equated as a bowling ball moving through space that is normally no larger than a small Vidalia onion. I’ve heard it’s like a man passing a much smaller kidney stone through his penis. God has nothing to do with either event, and Eve did not either.
It’s all fiction.

Can society expect peace when it allows religious ignorance to continue spreading little bubbles of pretend around the real world? Or, will humanity be spared by coming to a point in time where it could experience the ‘end of days’ for religious ignorance by accepting the reality that we evolved?

If you’re a christian, what does the book of revelations tell you? If perfect love is irresistible grace that draws all, why is there a place of torment or a day of judgment? Did writers write with forked pen, and use fear to bend the minds of men? There’s no power in the blood, without pretend. A goat is still a goat, even if you call it a lamb slain for sin.

You cannot walk on water. Why teach your children lies? Would Jesus?

11.26.07   Scorcher

Last night, Pat and I watched Scorchers (1991)  I’ve probably missed more movies than I’ve seen and this one was an incredible surprise . If it’s unfamiliar to you, check it out. You won’t regret it. (‘A Most Excellent Comedy’ with a cast that’s second to none!)

Earlier this week Exie, my maternal grandmother, shared a photograph taken when she was a young girl, living at the base of “ Cold Mountain - 2003”  My paternal grandmother, as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, was born at Pink Beds, near the Cradle of Forestry and another migratory logging camp at the time. Exie later met Paul, who was also a “logger” and had five daughters and a son.

I’ve always enjoyed movies.  Arthur C. Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey  is another classic that probably drives many religious folk into a frenzy.  There’s a scene in which a computer, endowed with the ability to speak, reports the imminent failure of a module that enabled communication between the planet Earth and the ship. Faulty programming allowed faulty diagnostics, which led to crew members being killed. Sound familiar?

The failure of the AE 35 unit in the film is like the failure of our Supreme Court to take the proper action when dealing with the Gore/Bush fiasco in Florida.  Faulty programming, generated by a conspiracy to undermine our democracy and it’s constitution has rendered a situation where our leadership is killing Americans just like the Hal 9000 computer  killed most of the crew.   Religious belief, founded on fertile fallacies has lead to chaos. America’s foreign policy is based on the ignorance generated by religious belief.  Atonement 2.0 is the faulty programming that prevents  our government from being the entity our founding fathers desired. The failure to realize genuine separation of church and state skews our telemetry to the point that our nation iscurrently trying to steal the oil and rename the planet “Zion.” It’s utter nonsense which appears to be perfectly logical to the GOP and it’s religious right’s desire for christian imperialism. America doesn’t need ‘christ,’ or Israel for guidance. It needs it’s Constitution, properly installed and the religious ignorance that stands falsely in it’s place, raptured.

Religious ignorance, generated from false faith, will not get the job done. The bible is filled with lies. “Come out, come out, wherever you are,” it’s time to be an American star! Shine “against the firestorm of inexorable malfeasance” that falsely claims to know God!  The GOP and it’s ‘godless’ leadership have rendered our system of checks and balances, useless. We’re flying blind because Bush cannot see. He’s blinded by religious ignorance and servitude to mammon’s party of choice, none other than the GOP.

Granddaughter : Grandpa,  should Americans have to die for the sins of the neocons?
GrandPa Dobson :  Yes dear, sometimes ‘the ways of the Lord require harsh action’ or tough love,  which can appear to conflict with some of his commandments. Emperor Norrton has decreed that no blue blooded American should use the word “sin.” I know it sounds cute, but you must refrain from it’s usage. Let’s use the word ‘machinations’ instead. We need to ‘appear’ as Americans.
Granddaughter : GrandPa, should Americans have to die for the machinations of the President?
GrandPa Dobson :  Absolutely. ‘christ’ changed his life and we should support everything he says because he has become the very ‘hand of God.’ His actions are for the children, (sometimes confused with Exxon Mobile)  even when he deliberately lies about yellow cake, weapons of mass destruction and ‘no child left behind,’   it is for our good! Without neocon leadership there can be no Zion, or “Jesusland” as we ‘bastard jews” like to call it! If we, as a nation, continue to bless Israel by helping them steal the West Bank, and Iraq’s oil,  God will continue to bless us!  God is so good!

GrandPa Dobson is also known to my adult readers as ‘vaginal jim,’ keeper of America’s reproductive territories,  (the uterus, fallopian tubes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters of fetal development, etc.) and champions the oppression of every women’s right to choose when and how she will live her life. He is an advocate for the clichéd barefoot and pregnant lifestyle where every woman waits at home for her sugar daddy’s return with the bacon! (He’s also a pseudo rich republican who is irked by all the ink about global warming and prefers to watch Fox News. Should he be held accountable for their dissemination of  ignorance? Portraying Dr. James Dobson, and others like him, as modern primitives, has become my ‘purpose driven’ reason for being. (raison d’etre ) Focusing on what America could be, without the biblical ignorance that stems from conservative (biblical) interpretation anchored in primitive superstitions, is where my two cents kicks in.  America’s manifest destiny is to be an international player, not a tyrant in neocon clothing pretending to know God. If there were a God, one that could speak or act in a manner that showed real love, his first act of kindness would surely be to silence all dissent from the GOP and it’s klannish, Masonic roots, empowering the United Nations. The second would be to implement a carbon tax which takes the profits from fossil fuel usage away from Exxon Mobile, et al., and gives it to the people in need, through the UN. We don’t need a world bank for third world usury. Let the consumer be the fatted calf and the ‘indigent’ the object of genuine grace.  Let profit be made elsewhere. The third world has been victimized enough.

11.24.07 “Parenting Without Fear”

Parenting Without Fear: Letting Go of Worry and Focusing on What Really Matters by Paul J. Donahue

Watching the Saturday Early Show this morning provided some exposure to the work of Dr. Paul Donahue. It poses an interesting problem for any society that allows it’s citizens the right to raise their children in religious ignorance. America’s christians rejoice in their freedom, without realizing their not free. Beg to differ? Can you be a parent who raises your child without fear, and be an orthodox christian or a bastard jew?

Christians shoot their children in both feet, like the parents who allow their children to actually stand at a pulpit and pretend to preach the ‘word of God’ long before their bodies are even capable of learning how to masturbate. Silly contrast, but it drives home a point. The children are being brainwashed with bogus doctrine. How do you raise a child without fear if you tell them “God” sends folk to hell if they aren’t washed in the blood? Someone wrote that ‘perfect love cast out fear,’ but not if your devoted to reading the bible. Those who read the bible can do nothing but induce fear. If they don’t, we average, wannabe, Americans will be damned to eternal torment. Their saving our souls by trying to convince us we should help them carry their ball and chain? “Salvation via volcano atonement!” Or, if you prefer a different spin, ‘volcanovangelism’, a variation of 3:16 imagery, with the same old, same old, primitive superstition for a cornerstone.

It seems like I’ve lived most of my life waiting for the other shoe to drop. Some might say that’s normal, even realistic pragmatism. (Dad was an alcoholic, drill instructor and the bible belt provided additional baggage.) I’ve reached the point where I’d rather just  scream “Fu*k the other shoe.” I know I’d rather be naked and ignorant of the primitive superstitions derived from that little tale about a tree, a tail and Adam and Eve getting nailed. If perfect love cast out fear, how can fear be the beginning of wisdom knowledge and understanding? Answer: “God’s” mysterious bullshit, provided by the bible and it’s many illusions of light, created by dark shadows. When I think of Billy singing “no religion, no religion at all” I feel like my soul is being washed clean. Forget about washing feet, washing the mind free of primitive ignorance has far more societal value than continuing the curse of indoctrination, Sunday after Sunday after Sunday. If your doing that, your brainwashing your children with ignorance. Your raising your children with fear. Where there is fear there is no spirit of truth. You go to church on Sunday and praise God with lies!

That’s just the way it is, and that way is sick.

‘Im’s’ could also stand for intelligent messaging, but more often it’s just a “what’s up?,”  or “Gomer’s on my six!”  If we had more examples* of intelligent messaging, would it offset our current handicap, the Bush Administration’s continued defiance of it’s constitutional duties in lieu of God, mammon and national security?  Here’s one*.

Dear “davidites, bastard cousins of atonement 2.0’s christian brethren, and master pretenders of  the desire to play ‘do we really wannabe human beings?’” It’s time to take the money Uncle Sam has been giving you folk to build the wall through ‘jesusville’ and use it instead for better desalinization projects. Stealing water (and everything else) from Palestine, even though it’s become a kosher norm of modern day orthodoxy, is soon to collide with international law, that new kid on the block made possible by America’s gluttonous burning bush. Can a bush burn and not be ‘bright?’  Why don’t we use gluttony to our advantage and simply quit allowing Zionism to be financed by the U.S of A.? Why not  sanction Israel with serious impediments, at least until Palestine becomes better defined by full withdrawal to the ‘67 borders. Israel would then be free to  return to the list of non terrorists  states and perhaps seek to be more than the failed state it’s leadership  has allowed it to become. Redeem the days  and bless Palestine with peace. Trade your arrogance for acceptance of valid, international law, instead of an allegiance to the pseudo religious heritage which birthed much of the mythical filth and dogma you pretend comes from an almighty made in your image.

Not much change, zionism is a buzz kill and failure to acknowledge the need to reverse course, not stay the course, but reverse the course, write off US and British arrogance for the allowance of multiple atrocities  upon the land of Palestine and it’s people. Write it off with repentance. Solomon’s Temple was destroyed, remember. Why does Uncle Sam want to build it again?  Does Bush want to redeem his time and make lemonade?’ or lead our nation further into the abyss?

I’m sick of dominoes. Does the Pentagon think it can beat chaos by calling it controlled ‘blow back?’ With a sword?

Christians have a tendency to look down upon those who do not share their faith in volcano atonement. I.e. If you throw someone into a volcano for the sins of the village, or nation, “God” will heal the soul of the land and it’s people. (Volcano may still remain active.)

Let’s get to the heart of the matter. Pagan Americans. The Christian Right has always been disrespectful of the Constitution and has fought to keep it’s grace out of the American Life Style. The Religious Right’s ‘need for a christ’ makes me wonder if they all might be better off in a career that did not involve politics. Until that day we must work to heal Uncle Sam of it’s carcinogenic nature.

Pagan Americans, like the GOP, the KKK, and the greater body of christ, are all prone to aspects of faith that are impediments to the tranquil society engendered by our desire for “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Christians, who are also pagan, think that phrase should not be used to define an American lifestyle and will violate our Constitution just to make it so. “Life. liberty and the pursuit of happiness” must be mandated or defined by primitive fundamentalism, with a strong bias toward jewish orthodoxy, the eye for eye, blood thirsty ire of false commandment intrusion. To be American is to be PRO CHOICE. To be a pagan American is to be pro christian or whatever impedes your ability to respect the Constitution and the bill of rights. Fred Thompson is currently wading through those commercials sowing seeds of faith into the GOP. “Be faithful, vote for me and God will bless America.” gnofleas paraphrase.
Fred, I have a question. When will the illegal West Bank occupation become Palestine? Or, do you have a better way to begin the steps toward peace in Baghdad? Respect for international law is the cornerstone.

Pagan Americans are often zionists. That’s kind of odd and reflects the power of religious ignorance upon people who, for whatever reason, are unable to use logic and common sense to manipulate the ruse their entrapped in. One must first see a ball and chain before it’s causality can be transcended. “Free your selves from religious ignorance.” Rise from the ashes of your make believe and rejoice. The earth is not flat and “perfect love cast our fear!”

Be an American and God will bless you for it! There was no Adam, no original sin. There is no Satan, no hell, just Bush in the White House.
